To-dos before I die.

  1. Sky-dive.- Did this in Cairns, Queensland on 26th November 2010 and in the rain even. Our instructors actually said that it was more extreme sky-diving than normal. 
  2. Visit The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, Florida. 
  3. Teach myself how to play the guitar.- Ongoing process from 26th February 2011. 
  4. Experience a live Muse gig.- Did twice; first in Singapore on 3rd February 2010 and in Melbourne on 14th December 2010. 
  5. Watch Muse live at one of their legendary Wembley gigs. (My post relating to starting a Wembley 2013 fund.)
  6. Watch Muse live from the barrier. 
  7. Obtain any one of the following from Muse; a setlist, Chris’s harmonica, Dom’s drumstick or Matt’s plectrum. 
  8. Meet Matthew Bellamy, Dominic Howard and Chris Wolstenholme. 
  9. See these amazing bands live: Arcade Fire and Mumford & Sons. 
  10. See The National live. - At Palais Theatre in Melbourne on 9th January 2011. 
  11. See Death Cab for Cutie live. - At Palace Theatre in Melbourne on 21st February 2012.
  12. Attend a music festival.- Lost my music festival virginity to Laneway Festival 2011 in Melbourne. Bands seen: The Holidays, The Antlers, World’s End Press, Jenny and Johnny, Beach House, Two Door Cinema Club, Warpaint, Local Natives, Yeasayer, Foals and Cut Copy.
  13. Read and finish “War & Peace”. 
  14. Be nice to my family. - It’s a work in progress. 
  15. Adopt a pug. Or a puggle; I’m not fussy. 
  16. Give my life to Christ. - Born again from August 2007. 
  17. Live and work in New York City for an extended period of time. 
  18. Visit London again. Because I hated my first visit so much. 
  19. Visit these European states/countries: Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Milan, Rome, Scotland, Amsterdam. 
  20. Visit these USA States: New York (July 2008), Orlando, Las Vegas (when I was 13-14), Chicago, Miami, San Francisco, New Orleans, Los Angeles. 
  21. Strike the Horatio-sunglasses-against-the-sunset pose on CSI: Miami in Miami with the cousin. And saying the Horatio Caine words. 
  22. Learn Japanese and travel around Japan for a month. 
  23. Attend Wimbledon wearing the classic all white outfit. 
  24. Follow the four major grand slams in one year from Australian Open, Roland Garros, Wimbledon and US Open. 
  25. Attend an Australian Open Grand Slam in Melbourne, Australia - Done and done from 17-30 January 2011. Players seen: David Nalbandian, Lleyton Hewitt, Juan Martin Del Potro, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (twice), Marin Cilic, John Isner, Alexandr Dolgopolov, Dudi Sela, Illya Marchenko, Andreas Seppi, Tomas Berdych, Fernando Verdasco, Stanislas Wawrinka, Gael Monfils, Kim Clijsters, Venus Williams (though I’m not sure it should count since she retired after only 8 minutes of play). 
  26. Watch Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray play live tennis matches - Saw Andy on 20th January 2011. Saw Rafa on 24th January 2012. 
  27. Get a tennis star’s autograph - Got Andy Murray to sign on my brand-new-tags-not-removed AO shirt after his second round match win at Margaret Court Arena on 20th January 2011. Novak Djokovic signed my AO ticket during one of his training sessions in Melbourne. 
  28. Dine at Heston Blumenthal’s “The Fat Duck” in Berkshire, UK and Thomas Keller’s “The French Laundry” in Napa Valley, California.
