Random facts about me

  1. I can roll my tongue. I thought everyone could do it for the longest time when I was a young lass. 
  2. I love to watch tennis even though I don’t play the sport. 
  3. When I get obsessed over something, I get really obsessed over it. Like seriously. No, really. OB-SES-SION. 
  4. I almost made a boy cry in elementary school. 
  5. I love music and regret not learning the piano when I was given the choice of ballet or piano lessons. 
  6. I learned ballet almost religiously from six to thirteen years old. 
  7. I have a natural ballet arch that my dancer friends are envious of. And I seriously thought that my feet were normal - not abnormally arched. 
  8. I cannot travel anywhere without my iPod. 
  9. I sleep in the foetus position. 
  10. I’m sometimes able to wake up a minute or less before my alarm clock goes off. 
  11. I love heels but hate walking in them. 
  12. I have an unhealthy obsession with bags, shoes and jeans. 
  13. My earliest memory is of me; six or seven, with my grandmother being robbed at knife point in front of our house. The robbers left us unharmed and just took her handbag. 
  14. I am able to identify what a particular song is when I hear it except for its name. Like I’m able to sing the lyrics and identify its melody, when the guitar/piano/drum solo would come in and the drum beats are. BUT I can NEVER remember the name of the song. 
  15. I have watched so many live Muse gigs (online, DVDs or seem them live) that I’m able to identify the song that they are playing from just looking at a photo of the stage graphics, background design, setup and the instruments that Matt is playing in that photo. True story. 
  16. Also a small story about how I got into Muse if you’re interested. 
  17. I may be the biggest chef and foodie nerd and geek I know thanks to Top Chef. I can identify the chef and associated restaurants with his or her name better than my non-foodie friends. 
  18. I want to get a tattoo, or two. I’ve decided on a cross tattoo along my left shoulder blade for my relationship with God(finally did it!) a Muse-inspired one, which I’ve not decided on what or where yet. (Post relating to tattoo)
  19. I lost my concert virginity to 911 at the ripe old age of 11. 
  20. I headbang and air-drum to my music with unabashed frivolity when I drive my car. 
  21. I tone down my road rage when there are other people in the car with me behind the wheel. Otherwise, it’s all on the road. 
  22. I am a gadget and techie geek. Don’t believe me when I deny it.
